About Me!
The story behind my love for marketing.
I’m Amanda Diep, a marketing student and digital storyteller who loves creating content that helps people feel connected to a brand, business, or idea.

Education
Building my foundation in marketing.
I began my college journey at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, where I built a strong foundation in business and marketing. Today, I’m continuing my studies at the University of Minnesota, expanding my skills in social media, branding, and digital strategy.
My Marketing Journey
It started earlier than I realized.
It started when I was a kid with a lemonade stand and too much ambition. I didn’t stop at lemonade. I used the money I made to buy a snowcone machine, then a cotton candy machine, then a popcorn maker. I made signs, got my friends to help, and set up shop on the corner like it was a full-blown business.
Since then, I’ve always loved the creative side of selling something and getting people excited about it. That carried into my cookie business, where I designed labels, posted on social media, and figured out how to make my brand feel fun and personal. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was learning how to market. And now, it’s something I genuinely love doing.
Why Marketing?
I like figuring out what makes people care.
I’ve been online for as long as I can remember. Spending that much time on the internet taught me how people connect, what holds their attention, and what makes them scroll past. Over the years, I started to love the idea of turning a message into something that actually sticks.
Marketing brings together creativity, communication, and problem-solving in a way that clicks for me. It feels like the perfect space to take what I naturally do and turn it into a career.
Creative Energy
I love turning simple ideas into content that feels fun, clear, and memorable.
Audience First
I think about what people care about, what catches attention, and what makes them connect.
Always Learning
I’m continuing to grow my skills in branding, social media, content strategy, and analytics.

Creative Sidekick
Meet Katsu.
Katsu is my creative sidekick and the unofficial mascot of my marketing journey. My cookie business, Katsu’s Cookies, reflects the playful and personal side of how I approach branding. To me, good marketing should not only look nice — it should feel like there is a real person and story behind it.
